Comedy at Its Finest

Since I am only 7 days away from my due date, this would probably be the time to get more introspective with my posts and really delve into my feelings about preparing for the birth of this baby.

That would be what a normal person would probably be blogging about.

Me? I'm more interested in finding out if you've seen the movie Borat yet.

Anyone?

I just finally saw it tonight and I was laughing my ass off. I guess a man with a speedo wrapped around his neck will do that to me.

But what was up with the naked man-on-man hotel room fight scene towards the end of the movie? That was just insane! Could you believe that he actually assumed the 69 with that guy and then streaked into a conference room full of people and rolled around naked with him on stage? That seriously takes guts.

And even though I kinda threw up a little in my mouth while I was watching that scene unfold, it still cracked me up.

Ah, how I love a good comedy. Helps me take my mind off the fact that I'll be squeezing an 8-lb baby through my vajajay any day now.

Only 7 days left? Holy crap. Good luck with everything!

And yes. Borat. I saw it in the theater and it was the funniest shit I'd seen in a long, long time.

Yes that was an insane scene. Couldn't believe my eyes.

It seems like just yesterday you announced you were pregnant. That time went fast. Here's wishing you a speedy, healthy, happy labor.

I haven't seen the movie, but not sure I want to. I can't believe you are about to have the baby!!! Good luck with everything. We'll of course expect a full report within 24 hours after the birth - with a full array of pictures - haha.

Wow, in 7 days you're gonna have another wee barra, that is so cool!!!
It does seem that the time has flown, though I'm sure for you (through the pregnant with no air con)it must've felt like forever!
Well my best wishes and biggest hugs...everything's going to go great, I just know it!
Can't wait until you're able to tell us all about it.....until then take care!!!!!
xx
ps.....Sascha Baron Cohen has never been one of my favourites, a wee tad too over the top for me, however my sister watched it and said she almost pee-ed herself laughing, maybe I should give it a try!

Ah, Borat! I am just back from the wedding of a dear friend. Her name is Anna and the priest called her Anne for 2/3 pf the ceremony until she finally corrected him. But the the groom? My god the groom! is name is Eugene, but I swear to you that what came out and reverberated through the vaulted ceiling of the chapel was, "Vagines," spot on recreation of the pronunciation that Borat had for his sister's vagina. Good grief! Glad you had a great laugh. Here's to a swift delivery, I'd say faster than the naked wrestling scene, but that sucker went on and on.

I loved it too. I was snorting at times.

Wow, only seven days left? I'm sure it's felt like forever for you but for me, your pregnancy has flown by! (God, I hated it when people said that to me when I was pregnant with Oliver. I'll shut the fuck up now.)

Wow! Now less than seven days left... here's hoping all goes well!

Haven't seen Borat, but it's definitely on my must-see list. Did love the Jackass movies, though. I imagine if I didn't throw up watching those, I can pretty much watch anything. :-)

I was torn with Borat. Half of the time I was laughing my ass off. The other half I was contemplating getting up and walking out. Hope the whole "squeezing and 8 lb baby through you vajayjay"thing goes well!

My god, I loved Borat!

Even better -- watch Ali G. Indahouse. Borat has a cameo.
