Anyone Got a Metal Detector Handy?

Remember a few weeks ago when I told you I lost my wallet - with all my credit cards, my ID, my health plan cards, a bunch of cool gift cards (*sniff), and even my friggin library card?

Yeah, well, I never did find it. And then about two weeks ago, I lost my keys.

And I never found those so I had new ones made. And then promptly lost one of the new ones before I could get it on the key chain.

Then a couple days ago, I lost my cell phone. I have no idea where it is.

What is going on with me?

Next think you know, I'll be losing my mind. It's not much of a stretch, people.

Maybe Little Guy is hiding them somewhere secret? Or you know, flushing them in the potty or tossing them in the trash?

You need more then a metal detector. You need velcro and duct tape woman.

minds: totally overrated.

(trust me on this. or, uh, don't, because I'm not sure I even came equipped with one at birth.)

I'm so sorry about the keys *and* the cell phone, now. that blows, babe.

Well that just stinks! I'm glad I'm not the only clueless mom around, but a wallet AND keys AND cell phone?

Everything that gets lost around here winds up in the couch cushions or Terrorit's play fridge.

Check those!

Little Guy is probably hiding them. When my son was around 3 he figured out collapsing police baton + "cop keys" = daddy to work...so he hid them both. collapsing police baton in the bathroom drawer UNDER all the brushes, hair ties and blow dryer and the keys in a pair of my shoes. Smart kid. The bad thing was he was late to work, had to call his supervisor and tell him that his 3 year old son hid all his stuff from him. That was not a good time.

So long story short, you may not be loosing your mind, your son may just be "helping" you.

Your prior commentor may be right about T hiding them. A fellow blogger, Kailani, posted one time about her missing cell phone. She bought another one...then a few days later she goes into her daughter's bedroom into a tent tyep deal her daughter had up - and there with some other toys guess what she found? HER CELL PHONE!! So, you never know!!

Tell Little Guy he can't play with toilet paper anymore unless he fesses up :)

Seriously, I do hope you find everything.

Hey, didn't you lose a special earring last year, too?

Oops, sorry I mentioned it.

It must be your boy hiding things?

Maybe it's a ghost? Tell it to stop messing with your stuff. Really, say it out loud and see if it helps.
