p.s.

p.s. Did I say my son is beautiful? I love him to the ends of the earth. I will figure this out for him. I will.

I am a faithful reader of your blog, and I just wanted to say I'm so sorry your beautiful boy is having such a hard time ( as well as you and your husband). We parents never like to see our babies hurting or struggling in any way, and I'm praying, hoping, crossing every finger and toe hoping you receive some peace, relief, and a solution soon.........

Of course you will! This is no reflection of your parenting skills, no matter what your bitch of a MIL says.

My girlfriend went through this with her daughter and what worked for them was therapy... they were fortunate enough to find a doctor who had a lot of experience with this... they saw a therapist together and my girlfriend saw her independently.

Good luck. I can't imagine how frustrating this must be... to see your child suffering and limiting himself but being unable to stop himself... it's heartbreaking.

BTW - your MIL sounds like a real piece of work... and not in a good way!

I am so sorry you are going through this--it sounds scary and exhausting! You are an amazing wonderful mother and I know this by simply reading your blog--it comes through in your writing. You are GREAT, you will find a way to handle this and survive this! I will send positive thoughts your way!
