Money Well Spent

OK, so that pool I told you we bought last week? Well, we just tried it out for the first time, and all I can say is....

...totally worth the $29.99. Totally.

On another note, I have a new renter hanging out on my sidebar. Please go say "Hi" to Fidget at Finding Yourself Despite Yourself. Today she's posting about trolls. She recently got a horrible comment on her blog, and she's not the only one who's fallen victim to this kind of nastiness. Please go visit her and leave a nice comment. I'm sure she'd appreciate the love!

we bought a pool a few years ago above ground pool...$99 bucks with filter... best investment we ever made..(besides the indoor outdoor carpeting around the pool with the $50 ladder)this pool has saved our entire family... it has a filter and we bought floating noodles for it... so now it is more like a hot tub for those hot, hot summer nights...

I would go visit Finding Yourself Despite Yourself but I don't see the link on your sidebar... did she not pay her rent? LOL.

First, mad, mad love for that Target blog you wrote. I haven't stopped thinking about it. I have a funny story for you but I may savor that for a blog all on it's own.

Next, what's up with angry commenters? Rudeness! This is a sacred space for support. I hate people who crash the party like that.

Finally, that water mat is divine. I want one for myself.

Pendullum: $99 for an above ground pool with a filter? Great deal and sounds fun!

Manic Mom: LOL, she IS a little late on rent actually. j/k :) She is under the header on my sidebar that says "check out my lovely renter".

It's OK Sweetie: Thanks! And I agree it's horrible that people can be so mean when visiting people's blogs. I've never had a "troll" here, but I see them pop up on other people's sites. Don't they have anything BETTER to do with their time?

I want one of those! Unfortunately here in sub-tropical England we have a hosepipe ban and deploying the pool wouuld result in our instant arrest and having our toes dipped in hot tea.

OOo that is the Cadillac of kiddie pools!! I am glad it went out over well. We have the $10 hard plastic one and Becca could live in there!

I CAN'T WAIT to set the thing up. I'll make sure to have the requisite blood/alcohol content loaded up and ready to blow -- what was it, two glasses of wine?

p.s. HOW cute is that baby boy of yours in the hat, in the center of that fabulous pool?

heartttt him.

We have a blow up pool too! Your son looks like he is going to have endless hours playing in the water. Grab a cold drink and soak your toes!
