OK, people. I have a serious question for you, and I need your feedback...fast. I've been having this internal debate raging within me for some time now. It's gone something like this:

It's gone something like this:Me (circa March 2006): What's this BlogHer thing people keep talking about? It's a what? A conference for women bloggers? You mean people are actually going to meet up with people they've only met over the Internet? I'd never do that. These people must be really obsessed with the whole blogging thing. Weird.So, now that you know what keeps me up at night, my question to you is:
Me (circa April 2006): Mommy bloggers are cool. And nice. And, gosh, I really like them. They're starting to feel like real friends.
Me (circa May 2006): Wow, BlogHer is in San Jose. That's only like 2 hours from where I live. Maybe I should go. It would be kinda cool to meet some of these mommies.....get an autograph or two...put a face to a blogger template. Maybe I'll sign up. Hmmmm. *twiddles thumbs and contemplates*
Me (circa June 2006): OK, there's no more denying it. I totally want to go to BlogHer. Bad. That's it. I'm registering....What? Day One is sold out?! GAH! Why didn't I register sooner, like back in March when I had a chance? I'mSO DUMB. *bangs head against keyboard*
Me (July 2006): Well, tickets are still available for the cocktail party happening Saturday evening. I could go to that. But would people still be hanging around or would all the fun be over by then?
Are you going to BlogHer, and if so, will you still be around for the Saturday evening cocktail party? Cuz I really truly only want to go if you're gonna be there. I'd so love to join you for a drink...A real drink.

If it were closer to where I live, I'd totally be going, but sadly, I can't. It also coincides with a mandatory business trip I'm taking. Wah!
But you have to go. I've read where other bloggers are ONLY going to the cocktail party. And you have to go so you can come back and write about it. Hafta! I need to live vicariously through SOMEBODY! Purty please?

That would be fun. If I were that close, I would SERIOUSLY consider going. However, I live way too far and no time off work...so go and have a great time and write all about it like Sunshine Scribe did!!!
You know - Madge at Mainely Madge has a Blogher ticket she can't use, cause of some home issues.....She's looking for someone to take it off her hands

I'm not going, but several of my blogfriends are, and I've heard that the cocktail party is well worth attending.

I didn't know you lived so close! I live in San Jose, however, won't be attending any of the BlogHer events...I am looking forward to reading about it, though. If you've got the availability to go...then go! Have fun.

I'm totally going, and I'm freaking out just a little, about it. However, I only bought tickets to the cocktail parties, not the conference. (I'm sure you're shocked. Right? RIGHT?)
Anyway, yeah, come! I'll be there! The one in the corner looking nervous, downing a beer, that'll be me.
I'm not going for geographical reasons...but I would if I could!
I think Blogher should have an east coast conference!
Next year for me. Now just watch, NOBODY I know will be at that one.

So many of you are not going...I am sad. Perhaps next year?? I know a lot of people want to do one on the East Coast, which would be cool, but can we also consider a BlogHer Hawaii one year? Anybody with me?
