Why I Love TJs: Reason #87
When you're exhausted, pregnant, and you've just recently turned 30, there's just nothing like being carded for wine at the grocery store to give your self-esteem that much-needed boost, you know?
And that's reason #87 that I love Trader Joe's: the checkout girls may be 10 years younger than me, but yet they always do me the honor of asking for my ID.

I always get carded..of course, I'm only a few years over the legal age and I look even younger than I am. Everyone says one day I'll enjoy it, I guess they are right!
I have to comment on the comment you left me today. So you're a horn dog when you're knocked up? You go girl! My fourth pregnancy was the only one that I had a high sex drive but I still found sex awkward and uncomfortable.

Slackermommy: yes, it's true! I'm a total, *ahem*, horny preggo. (Ick, that sounds so sleazy!) But I must say that I wasn't that way with my first pregnancy. I had zero sex drive last time. And, yes, I'd have to agree that it's pretty awkward to actually HAVE sex. There's this huge BELLY in my way. But that still doesn't stop me! LOL
I'm still getting carded and I'm 40. Not at TJ's, though, because our TJ's doesn't sell sensible things like wine, no. They just sell cheese and chips and organic kelp. *sigh* I miss the Cambridge TJ's.
We just got TJ's in Minnesota!!! And i LOVE IT!!!!! Getting carded would be even better! :) I laughed at your comments here.......I too had that "problem" when I was pregnant! I guess my body knew I wouldn't be wanting any of that after the baby due to sheer exhaustion from running around! Hehehehehee!
I love getting carded! Although I hate the pitying look I get when they hand my I.D. back to me. Brats.
What's Trader Joes? We don't have them here in Wisconsin, and I'm thinking my life is the poorer for it.
