I'm Doin' the Dance of Joy
Despite the fact that I've been running a fever since Saturday...
Despite the fact that I can't breathe through my nose and my head feels like it's going to explode every time I cough...
Despite the fact that my eyes and squinty and watery and my body aches...
Despite the fact that I threw up four times in the middle of the food court at the mall on Saturday (yes, OMG, I did)...
Yes, despite all this, I am still doing the dance of joy!!*
Because I woke up two days ago and felt normal. That is, I felt no nausea. No all-day, non-stop I'm-gonna-puke-up-my-saltine-crackers feeling. No vomiting even.
At 16 weeks, I think it's really over! And I can't wait to get back to my regularly scheduled life. Hooray!
*Unbelievably, my two minute Google image search couldn't produce a picture of Larry and Balki doing the dance of joy for this post. Gosh.

I am elated for you!!! Nobody likes the pukies. (in the food court?? you poor thing!)
Balki and Larry...good times. *lol*
Yay!!! I am so glad for you.
Oh, I was hoping this day would come soon!!
I'm so happy for you :)
I loved Larry and Bulki! And then Bulki played a weird part in a Stephen King movie once. Very weird. Anyway, I'm soooo happy for you that you're done with the sickness!!!! Woo hoo!!! I'm doing the dance for JOy with you!!!!
No, you dinnt puke four times in the food court...girl...I'm so sorry.
Glad your 16 week mark has you doing the dance of joy!
I'm happy to hear it...
Congrats! That's fantastic! I was sick for 9 whole months with my pregnancies and I'd never wish that on anyone.
I'm so happy for you! Now you can get on with actually enjoying your pregnancy. Great news.
In the food court huh? Had I been eating there I probably would have been puking right along with you...lol. I hope the morning ( all day) sickness is really finally over for you and you can start enjoying your pregnancy. The best part is when the baby starts moving....I loved that feeling. It makes me sad that I will never have that feeling again. It was so awesome.
Good for you. I hope it's smoooooth sailing from here on out -- you deserve it.
(though I'm sure puking in the food court completely sucked.)
Yay! I SO remember that feeling. LET THE EATING COMMENCE! (you have aproximately 4 weeks until heart burn sets in)
Aw...Larry & Balki! Glad you're feeling better. The food court incident sounds not so fun though!
YAY!!!!
Hurray for not feeling pukey!!!!
Rock on sister.
Yea, MotR!
Yippie!!!!!! I'm 17 weeks today and other than right when I get up I feel great on most days. That all day stuff is the worst!
I remember SO clearly the day I realized I was feeling normal. It's definitely a dance of joy moment. Congratulations!
Sweet. You're headed into that lovely 12 week or so period when pregnancy feels like a total breeze. I know it's hard to remember what that's like when you've been ill for four months straight. Enjoy!
Yay!
And I miss the Larry and Balki Dance of Joy.
I'm totally nostalgic now.
I am so glad for you. I hope you get back to "normal" (whatever that is...) sometime soon.
From one past 'food-court-puker' to another (ah, memories!) I just want to say congratulations for 1)being prego, and 2) getting back to normal!!! I'm doing the dance along with you. Dang! I would've loved to have seen the "coshin' dance!!! Ha!
I hope the nausea is long gone! Hooray for the 16th week.
I hope the nose and head thing clears up fast and then you'll be unstoppable!
How about video?

Honestly, every time I find someone who can't find something online I'm compelled to find it for them. I think it's a sickness.
Hooray! I am so happy for you!
Oh yay!
I don't know what I love more - that you're feeling like you're past that horribleness, or that you wanted to link to Larry and Balki photos.
I love you, C. hugs. big ones. :)
Deb
I'm so happy for you! Yesterday was my first day of feeling normal after ALL DAY sickness for the last three months. I'm doing the dance with you!
