Confessions of a Bad Mommy

Is it wrong to look forward to going to work more than staying home with my toddler?

Cuz I do.

I work three days a week at my job and I stay home two days a week with Little Guy.

And after two years, I can tell ya that I get excited when I get to go to work - and not so excited when I have to stay home.

There, I said it.

*hangs head in shame*

It is good to have adult time...and it is good to enjoy it! You definitely aren't a bad mommy.

If you're a bad mommy then I guess I am too. I worked full time before I had #2 and I always looked forward to the "holiday" of my day job. Since I've been on maternity leave with the 2 kids I haven't gotten one measly coffee break!

But do you do a happy little victory dance when you leave your house? 'Cuz that might come across wrong. ;)

I just shipped my child off to daycare after he was barfing all evening. He seemed fine this morning so off he went.

It's one thing to stay home with your child, but a barfy one? Nope.

*high five*
Bad Mom in the house!!

dude, you're pregnant. building a person is exhausting, and work can feel like a break. enjoy it while you can get it.

Are you not wanting to hang-out at home cuz there's no more Elmo cake left! And of course YOURS was the better one :).

You are so normal for feeling how you feel (hello, my kids aren't in camp five morning a week just for THEIR sake!). Thanks for being honest. All moms need to stick together. Well, maybe there are a few I don't so much want to be stuck to.

Have a great weekend!

Are you kidding me? I started a new career so I could get out of the house.

Although now even though I've gotten myself this really awesome job with a lot of opportunity and a free gym to work out in... I want to quit and stay at home!

The grass is always greener...

There is NOTHING wrong with that! I wish I could go back to work, but we've decided for now that I won't...

That's not a bad mommy. Bad mommy is having to work more than 40 hours at the office, which translates to dragging Amara to work, eating McDonald's off of my cubby's floor. I think you're OK :)

Some days, I *wish* I had a job outside my home too!
