Okay, 2 contractions and you're WRITING calmly on this blog...damn girl you are my heroine....I think there should be a national day dedicated to you, where women from around the world can say in a reverent whisper:
"I used to think tales of the women who worked in paddy fields and pulled themselves onto the side to give birth, before going straight back to work, were impressive......UNTIL, I heard about the woman blogger who actually wrote a coherent and witty post whilst having CONTRACTIONS!!"

Seriously lass, you ROCK and if this is the start of the wee one coming out to play, then I'm thinking about you and sending mental hugs (sheesh did that sound cheesy or what?!)
xx

Pumpkin, you crack me up!

I guess I should clarify lest people think I'm NOT the total wimp I really am when it comes to pain...my contractions aren't really that strong yet. They're only lasting about 10 seconds and coming sporadically.

So yeah, I've got nuttin' on the rice paddy ladies. They're seriously hard core. I can only hope to channel some of their bad-assness when the real labor begins :)

Well I hope those contractions are doing something.

I like the table. It's cute! But take a nap, woman!

Take a nap. Bloglines will wait.

And more lead? Dammit. I an SO pissed about this crap. I told my dad he better be working on his carpentry skills because he's going to be making all the kids' toys!

I LOVE that table . . . I may need to visit my local Ikea. You, my dear, are an inspiration.

Hope the contractions either figure out what they're doin', or cease until it's really time so that you can take a nap!

I'm crossing my fingers for them to get their groove on already and get that baby here! :)

I think more than contractions it is the putting together of Ikea furniture that is the first sign of labor.

Eeeeeeeaaassssssy labor vibes!

Ouch!! This brings back memories -- contractions, Braxton Hicks (which I thought were just as painful as the REAL thing.) Good luck and wishes to you.

Make up for the lack of naps now! Get thee a husband administered foot rub, then a neck rub, and send him out for decadent new sheets.

Oh, and one more thing, if it's not too much trouble, keep posting. I'm lovin' the countdown!

Nesting is important... so is napping. Hoping the contractions were productive and you're doing well.

And that table is SO cute!
