Thank you

I would like to extend my sincerest gratitute to everyone who expressed their condolences on my grandmother's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out, too, to those of you who had or currently have a family member struggling with Alzheimer’s disease.

When I started this blog, I had no idea that there was such a large community of compassionate, intelligent, and supportive women out there. I'm glad I found you, and I hope to get to know you all better.

MOTR, I just read the posts about your Nonna. I am so sorry. I lost one grandmother on Mother's Day when I was 14, and the other in May just two years ago when I was 40. Big blogger-friend hugs to you!

You're in my thoughts. My husband's grandmother had Alzheimer's and it was terribly difficult for the family to deal with. I'm so sorry for your loss.

You and your family remain in my thoughts. My mother is in first or second stage Alzheimer's but she is also in complete denial. I worry so much about her.

Stay strong, and remember her the way she was before the Alzheimer's set in.

Hugs

Kvetch, I am so sorry to hear that you have lost both grandmothers. And one on Mother's Day. That must have been hard. Hugs back to you.

Mama Tulip, I am sorry to hear that your husband's grandmother also had Alzheimer's. It is such a sad disease and, unfortunately, it touches almost everyone.

Undercover angel, my heart goes out to you. It was hard enough to have a grandmother with Alzheimer's. I can't imagine the difficulty of having a mother with the disease. My prayers are with you.

Sunshine Scribe and Jennster, thank you for the hugs. I feel them.

My Step-Father's Mother had Alzheimer's and I'm pretty sure my Grandmother has it as well. The signs are there.

I'm still sending hugs and prayers your way, its hard loosing someone you love. ((hugs))

It is amazing what a wonderful blogging community there is. I started my blog to help record the events of my life, but I never imagined I'd make such incredible friends that are now such a part of my life.

And I'm glad if we can provide you any kind of support, in any way.
