Behold the Cuteness

He may be too young to understand what Halloween is, but he's not too young to be dressed up in a pirate costume and hauled over to the mall to get free candy for his parents to eat later. I did feel a little weird holding the bag myself and saying "trick or treat", but I got over it.

Exploiting your cute boy for candy is the real meaning of Halloween. I would have done it if Nathan hadn't been sick.

Arrrrrrrrr... Ahoy Mate!

Holding the bag and talking for your pirate is totally acceptable! I know because I was doing the same for my ballerina princess. Now I'm eating her candy but only for her own good. I wouldn't want her to have that much sugar right? Surely it's ok for me to OD on chocolate.

I hold the bad too. As a matter of fact, I snatch the bag out of my little darlin's paws!!! tee teehee.

Love your pirate...AAaargh.

What's a pirate's favorite fruit?

Aaarrrrgh-ange.

He's so cute! My kids are all old enough to do the trick or treat thing themselves (with me standing at the end of the driveways watching) so I am stuck begging them for candy to eat. Luckily they all still share with me.

Too adorable! I love the costume. My daughter didn't understand either. She would accept the candy, then hand it to the next person. I was all, "No! Not the Snickers! Keep the Snickers!"

That's the same costume Gabe was in last year (I swear you're in my head) and it was just soooooo cute. Would Little Guy wear the bandana that came with it? I'll have to dig up those pictures, because child pirates? Cutest thing on the planet.

I even taught him to say "Arrrrrgh!"

How else is he to learn about the joys of Trick-or-Treat unless Mom shows him how? I just think you're teaching by example. It's what a good mom does.

All: thank you for your nice comments about Little Guy. I know each of your kids looked very cute on Halloween as well. I've seen the picture proof on several sites already.

Janet: love the joke! LOL

Momish: I too love Snickers. :)

Andrea: I cannot believe that Gabe wore that costume last year. I am now truly believing that I do indeed live in your head. That must be a scary thing for you. LOL I have some pics with Little Guy in the bandana too. We had to trick him to get it on his head and then he'd forget it was there. :)

Catch: you always leave the sweetest comments. Thank you. :-)
